Privacy Policy
Short version: we collect your email address for the waitlist, a hashed IP address for spam protection, and nothing else. We never sell your data. You can get everything deleted with one email.
1. Who we are
Quotefox ("we", "us") is an independent, solo-built software project operating at quotefox.tech. Reach us any time at hello@quotefox.tech for anything in this policy — questions, data requests, or deletion.
2. What we collect (exactly this, nothing else)

We do not collect your name, company, browsing behaviour, or any analytics-identifying data on this page.
3. Where your data lives
Email records are stored in a MongoDB Atlas database (cloud-hosted in the region we select) and served through Vercel. These are our only service providers, used solely to run this page — they process data only on our instructions.
4. Cookies and local storage
This page sets no tracking cookies and runs no ad or analytics scripts.
After you join, your own browser stores one local entry (qf_waitlist) so the
page can remember you joined — it never leaves your device and clearing your
browser data removes it.
5. What we do with your email
- Send you waitlist-related emails: launch access, your founding-batch position, and product updates. That's it.
- We never sell, rent, or share your email with advertisers, data brokers, or third parties.
- Every email we send includes working unsubscribe instructions — reply and we'll remove you.
6. Your rights
Email hello@quotefox.tech and we will, within 30 days: tell you what data we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it entirely. No questions asked, no forms to fill.
7. Data retention
We keep waitlist records until the product launches and you either sign up or ask for deletion. If the project is abandoned, records are deleted within 90 days of that decision.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored behind access-controlled database credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect so little data that a breach would expose, at most, an email address and a join date.
9. Children
Quotefox is a B2B product and not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update this page and change the effective date above. Material changes affecting your email will be announced in the emails we send.
